Welcome to Latina Leadership Network!   

Serving as your president this coming year will be a privilege and a wonderful page in my journal of life. LLN has become a source of energy, friendships, personal and professional growth for me over the past five years.  We travel through this life often times reaching for the unknown, turning our heads to simply watch time, memories and loved ones pass.  It is the present time, that allows us to make decisions on how we create our legacy.  I often times share what I value most is the legacy I leave for my two beautiful future Latina daughters.  For all of you, this is your time to inspire, mentor and connect with future Latina leaders.   The present is our future. 

I will look to all of you for feedback, guidance and momentum.    Our primary goal this year is to sustain our current membership.  We will achieve this by communicating, sharing success stories, generating ideas, reaching out to those who need an extra boost and keeping our mission alive while serving our California Community College system.   Our secondary goal is to recruit.  I will look to each of you to assist in spreading our energy, our support system, our existence.  During challenging times, most retreat and take cover.  We will use this time to embrace, to hold our heads strong and to unite so we can overcome.  YOU can make a difference, YOU give blood to our LLN corazón, YOU inspire ME!
