A: Mission: The Latina Leadership Network of the California Community Colleges is a mutual support organization committed to leadership development for Latinas at all levels in the California Community Colleges and Promoting and maintaining La Cultural Latina and non-sexist familial values.
A: Latina Leadership Network is recognized and supported by our California Community College System.
A: The LLN is open to all. However, only California Community College employees and students are allowed to serve on the LLN Executive Board. See link on Membership for more information on becoming a member and joining our listserv.
A: Membership is annually. Click on “Membership” to obtain membership form.
A: Membership is current from Conference to Conference. Conferences are usually scheduled around the second week of March to early April. Membership dues are covered in the cost of your conference registration. See “Conference” link for more information.
A: LLN chapters are located throughout the State of California. If you do not have a chapter at your community college please contact the VP for you region. See” Regions Map” and “Contact” information.
A: Membership to LLN will bring individual’s opportunities to network with Latina’s throughout our great State.
A. Scholarships are presented at our annual conference. Typically 10 students are awarded $500 individual scholarships. See “awards” for more information and application.
A. Employee’s of California Community Colleges are also eligible to apply and receive an employee grant, which is also awarded at our annual conference. See “awards” for more information and application.
