The Latina Leadership Network is a mutual support and advocacy organization committed to providing effective opportunities to develop innovative approaches to increase the participation of Latinas in leadership roles and to promote and maintain “la cultural Latina” and   non-sexist familial values. Latina Leadership Network of the California Community Colleges is State-wide organization that was developed to create and to improve the representation of Latinas in the higher education system. The Latina Leadership Network consists of members from all levels within the California Community College system. The members and executive board consist of administrative, management, classified, faculty and students.

For 23 years, our organization organized an annual state-wide conference that takes place every March. The location of the conference rotates from Northern California to Central California and down to Southern California, so that different regions have an opportunity to host the conference in their home town.  The conference is an extremely important component of the LLN organization, because it allows the executive board, LLN members and other Latinas interested in joining the organization the opportunity to network.

Last Chance!! Time is running out!! If you have not had an opportunity, we encourage you to log into the registration site to  Register for the Conference and complete your conference registration.  Online registration will only be available until tomorrow, Wednesday, February 24th for credit card payments only.  Onsite registration will be available on a limited basis (first come, first served) for cash and check payments only.  We are looking forward to seeing you in Visalia.  If you have any additional questions regarding your registration, please feel free to email Kimberly Carter at carterk@mjc.edu.
